Harvest Playdate
Children were enlightened about the cultural significance of January 13th, traditionally celebrated as Lohri in Punjab. Kids engaged in festive activities such as playing the dhol, understanding bonfire rituals of harvest festival and dancing to the rhythmic beats of the dhol. They were also informed about Makar Sankranti, the equivalent celebration of harvest , marked by kite flying and the indulgence in traditional sweets like til laddu. These activities fostered a sense of community and cultural understanding among the children.
